Version 0.3

The Galaxy Gaming Community is an online gaming and social community where players can meet, discuss and explore Web 3.0 games.

This community was born from the vision to provide members with an untethered, unbiased and open community for discussions on all things Web 3.0 gaming.

Over the past few months we have been adding value to the community by hosting seminars, in-person mixers, online gaming sessions and other events. With this we have created a high-value and diverse community of enthusiast that believe in potential of Web 3.0 gaming.

Through engaging with these community members, we have been able to distil their needs. This has better shaped a vision for our solution.

Problem Overview

Through conducting user interviews and analysis of the greater industry, we have been able to distill two key pain points faced by Web 3.0 gaming enthusiasts.

Cost

Web 3.0 Gamers currently find it too expensive to play a variety of games.

This in-turn causes them to limit their focus to just a few games leaving their curiosity and desire for play unsatiated. (For a user to get started on Axie Infinity they have to purchase over $1000 worth of NFTs. This does not leave much for gamers to spend elsewhere.) This also has implications on Web 3.0 games as they struggle in acquiring users - much of their user acquisition consequently relies on marketing and community efforts that does not reflect well on the true quality of their game. To advance the industry as a whole, there is a need for players to play a larger variety of games and in-turn interact with game designers to improve these games.

Passive assets

Web 3.0 Gaming investors are currently limited to holding their investment in their passive forms.
